8 questions pour cheminer vers son plein pouvoir avec Jade

8 questions pour cheminer vers son plein pouvoir avec Jade

Today is International Women’s Day, and it fills me with joy to see so many people celebrating and honoring women around the world. As a mentor in women’s empowerment, this day has inspired me to reflect on the importance of working on ourselves in order to create a better world for women. I firmly believe that everything begins with us, and that every small step we take toward our own personal growth can contribute to a more balanced and just world for all women. Here are 8 questions to help guide you toward a more fulfilling life: Happy reflection! How do I speak about myself? Am I confident and assertive, or do I tend to downplay my achievements and qualities? Do I know how to say no when I need to, or do I easily give in to the demands and expectations of others? How do I compare myself to others? Do I often feel inferior? Do I commit to projects that truly inspire and motivate me? How do I take care of myself physically, mentally, and emotionally? Do I have limiting beliefs that prevent me from reaching my full potential? How can I overcome them? Am I surrounded by people who support and encourage me to be the best version of myself? Do I love myself? If so, how often do I tell myself that? By working on yourself, you can help create a better world for all women. Never forget that your individual well-being is connected to our collective well-being! Jade-Alexandra
4 surprising ways coffee is making you tired

4 surprising ways coffee is making you tired

Coffee is one of the most popular beverages in the world, with millions of people drinking it every day. Many of us reach for a cup of joe first thing in the morning to help us feel awake and more alert. But did you know that it may actually be making you tired? Here are 4 reasons why your coffee could be making you feel more tired than awake. 1. Coffee can disrupt your sleep Caffeine is a stimulant that can help you feel more alert and awake, but it can also disrupt your sleep. If you drink coffee too late in the day, the caffeine can stay in your system and make it harder for you to fall asleep or stay asleep. Lack of sleep can make you feel more tired during the day, which is the opposite of what you want. 2. Coffee can cause dehydration Coffee is a diuretic, which means it can cause your body to lose water. Dehydration can make you feel more tired and sluggish, as your body needs water to function properly. If you're drinking a lot of coffee and not enough water, it could be contributing to your fatigue. 3. Coffee can cause a sugar crash Many people like to add sugar to their coffee to sweeten it up. However, consuming too much sugar can cause a rapid increase in blood sugar levels, followed by a crash. When your blood sugar levels drop, you can feel more tired and sluggish, which is the opposite of what you want from your morning cup of coffee. 4. Coffee can cause adrenal fatigue The caffeine in coffee can cause your adrenal glands to produce more cortisol, which is a stress hormone. Over time, this can lead to adrenal fatigue, which can cause symptoms like fatigue, insomnia, and irritability. If you're drinking a lot of coffee and feeling more tired than usual, it could be a sign that your adrenal glands are overworked. So, what can you do if you suspect that your coffee is making you tired? Here are some tips: Limit your coffee intake to one or two cups per day, and try not to drink it too late in the day. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to stay hydrated. Try swapping out coffee for Matcha, it can be just as satisfying without the crash or jitters and provides a long-lasting energy boost and a wide range of other delicious health benefits. While coffee is a popular and delicious beverage, it's important to be aware of how it affects your body. If you're feeling more tired than awake after drinking coffee, it could be a sign that it's time to cut back and/or give a healthier alternative like Matcha a try. . Remember to listen to your body and give it the rest and nourishment it needs to function at its best. Would you consider swapping out your Coffee for Matcha like Caterine for two weeks ?!

Surviving two weeks without coffee thanks to Matcha, possible or not ?

Surviving two weeks without coffee thanks to Matcha, possible or not ?

The coffee addict in me decided to take on the challenge of depriving myself of my precious liquid for TWO weeks and replacing it with Matcha. Did I succeed without cheating? Keep on reading to find out… Two weeks without coffee, Matcha Waiting For? Just imagining it scared me! NO JOKES. When I saw the package arrive, I felt a migraine coming. Was I really going to separate myself from my beloved coffee? I know, I'm 100% addicted. If I skip coffee for a few hours in the morning, a headache almost immediately kicks in. I’m a self-proclaimed coffee lover, I love the taste, the smell, and the lifestyle that surrounds a cup of joe. I only drink coffee (aka it’s what I eat for breakfast), and it’s been that way since I can remember. I must have started drinking coffee before I got my drivers license. I’m not one to back down, and I've accepted this challenge (of a lifetime!). You know what they say, you can do anything you put your mind to. I’ve agreed to 14 days without Matcha to discover new sensations, flavors and lifestyle habits. Because…why not? Day 1 - Saying goodbye to coffee Morning number 1, I open the box that is filled with everything I need to survive for two weeks : different flavors : from funky to traditional, a new mug to motivate me, a shaker, a frother and a bottle to keep my Matcha cold for those mornings on the road. Still, I found myself in familiar territory as I'd tasted Matcha before and different flavors from Teangle. It’s however the first time that I would be trying Matcha Collagen. The real earthy taste of Matcha with the texture of a latte (my perfect mix!!) without the calories. I admit I added in a bit of milk, but that’s just me, never doing things as they should. FYI : 1 scoop of Teangle Matcha Collagen per day helps to give your skin that natural glow, increases your energy and strengthens your immune system. That’s what I started my challenge with : and what a pleasant surprise it was ! It was delicious. Loved the boost of energy that followed No crash later in the afternoon I didn’t have to take a 3rd Matcha that day to keep me going, like I was used to doing with coffee. I however admit that I did succumb to a second cup since I wanted something to sip on while answering my emails but by no means was it because of lack of energy.   Day 8 - Already a week has passed This girl is happy. Moreover, I just remembered that I had agreed to 7 days but honestly with the way everythings been going, 14 days won’t hurt. Let’s go for 14 days then! Me who foolishly thought I knew Matcha because of the few beverages I'd ordered back in the days at Starbucks. I honestly had no clue about the beautiful culture behind it all. This simple beverage should be prepared hot or cold every morning and/or afternoon with love. I found it a lot longer than the simple press of a button from my espresso machine but I quickly fell for this new little ritual. I heat up my water as soon as I wake up (not boiling!), I prepare a big cup of Matcha with either a spoon of Matcha Collagen or two mini spoons of matcha (whichever one I fancy that day). I mix in a small quantity of water with the powder and use my Frother to make sure the mixture is homogeneous. Depending on if I want a hot or cold Matcha, I head up my milk or add ice and voila ! The discovery of Matcha and its multiple flavors ! You want something flavorful ? You’ll be well served. But remember, everything is always green. I mention it because I was myself a little surprised ! Even though the Matcha Chai envelope is orange, you’ll still get a beautiful green colored Matcha everytime. My favorite flavors are : Cocooning morning : Warm Matcha collagen Morning at work (& my all time favorite) : Ceremonial Matcha, warm or cold, I love it for its earthy taste. I drink it as is or as a latte. In the afternoon : The Peppermint Matcha reminds me of Morocco and its mint tea. In the summer : Ginger & Lemongrass Matcha for a splash of freshness, served on ice of course. In a cocktail : The Chai Matcha is delicious with Cremaglace! Discover the signature flavors right here!   Day 14 - The ultimate day! To be writing these lines after two weeks without having had a single drop of coffee…and without rushing towards the espresso machine once the challenge was over, I can proudly say that I did it! Since i’ve completed the challenge, i’ve noticed that i’ve taken the habit of slowing down in the morning. I have a constant and steady stream of energy throughout the day, and alternate between the two beverages. One for its benefits, the other for its taste. I haven't quit coffee, but dare I say that I’m in another committed relationship with ‘someone’ else now, haha 😉   That being said, I'd love to try it in more recipes and cocktails. If you have any recipes, I'm a taker. And if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask! Cheers (with my Matcha) 🍵
Teangle's Founder : 3 lessons as a new father

Teangle's Founder : 3 lessons as a new father

Hi everyone, I’m the founder of Teangle and for my 29th birthday, I wanted to take the time to reflect on my first year of being a dad to a beautiful girl named Olivia.  Here are 3 life-lessons that my daughter has taught me (so far!). Lesson #1 - Don’t lose hope. March 24th 2021 is an evening I’ll always remember. It began like any other night. I turned off the lights, settled into bed and before I knew it, I was sound asleep. Only to be woken up moments later by my wife Elisabeth. She sat at the bedside with tears streaming down her cheeks. I noticed something in her hand, a pregnancy test. She moved it closer to my face. I looked up at Elisabeth confused. My immediate response wasn’t to celebrate. You see, we had been trying to conceive for over a year and seeing my wife cry over a negative test result wasn't anything new to me... It was always a mixture of sadness and feeling hopeless. But this time, it was different. They were tears of joy. She put her hands on her belly, smiled and said “I’m pregnant!” It was truly a miracle - we were just about to begin our first cycle of IVF the same week. Once my brain processed what was going on, I broke down in tears and hugged my wife. It was such a special moment and for me, it serves as a powerful reminder that we must never lose hope and always have faith! Miracles do happen. Oh and this is kind of funny... In the following 72 hours, my wife had taken about 8 more tests to make sure she was pregnant 🤣 Lesson #2 - You might get there on your own, but with the right help, you’ll get there MUCH faster. Once I found out my wife was pregnant, it hit me!  Oh shit, I'm actually going to be a dad. A new chapter in my life was opening up. It was a totally surreal feeling. When friends and family found out about the pregnancy, there was an outpouring of congratulations and "you will be a great dad". But with as much happiness as I was experiencing, there was just as much anxiety, fear and self-doubt : Am I truly ready to be a dad? Could I unwillingly pass on my own unresolved issues, pains and traumas to my daughter? If I wanted to be the best father possible for my little girl, I knew there were some things about myself that needed urgent attention. Past trauma, being a big one. So I made one of the best decisions of my life, I stepped outside of my comfort zone and sought out professional help. I found a psychotherapist that really resonated with me and made it a priority to schedule a call with him at the same time every week; no excuses! With his guidance, in the span of just 5 months I grew into a better man (& communicator) and learned things about myself that would have taken years on my own!   Lesson #3 : Be patient with yourself. These past 9 months I've been seeing my daughter grow before my very eyes. It's such a gift and I can't believe how fasts she's constantly changing.  But as I've been observing her there's something in particular that has grabbed my attention. She has such a playful and cheerful attitude towards trying....  Like trying to : roll-over,  speak, crawl, eating new foods. She can go from failing at something 99% of the time for a couple of weeks to all of a sudden! BOOM, here comes Olivia crawling across the room at the speed of light. Hahaha, it's gotta be the coolest and cutest thing ever! As her father, I'm also making sure to play my role. I want to encourage her and support her every step of the way to make sure that my little girls grows up with confidence in herself.  What is ironic, is that ever since I've been a dad, I've became a lot more aware of how I treat myself - my inner dialogue.  I noticed that I was way too hard on myself and that I would never speak or react to my daughter in the same way. Can anyone else relate? 👋🏻 So I realized, that I needed to make it a habit to treat myself the same way I was treating my daughter; with more : love, compassion and patience.  Yours truly, - Philippe
Teangle Story, Why Women

Why women?

At the age of 21 I was living with my mother who was going through a bitter divorce. One day as I watched her cleaning the dishes in the kitchen, it struck me how she seemed to have lost her usual spirit and the spark in her eyes. I didn't recognize her anymore. You see, my mother has a big heart. She's always taken care of others. Often times, forgetting herself and putting to the side her dreams. I started noticing how many women show the same altruism. They give, give, give.  They put their own needs, desires and dreams second to someone else’s . If there's one message that I hope will resonate with you it's the following : Please. Start making your own health and well-being a priority. You'll be amazed at how it makes life more enjoyable and how it gives you an even greater capacity to GIVE ❤️!  -Philippe Trottier
