Tropical Matcha Smoothie
Summer is almost here. Hello long, bright HOT, HOT, HOT days!!! To keep our energy going high and our bodies cool during this beautiful season, we’ve whipped up the most refreshing two-toned Matcha Smoothie.
We promise, it’s as tasty as it is pretty!
This super smoothie will give you the boost you need to seize the day (& the night!)

THIS MATCHA SMOOTHIE IS:

INGREDIENTS (1-2 smoothies)
Green layer
- ½ cup frozen mangos
- ½ cup frozen peaches
- ½ cup pineapple juice
- ¼ cup vegan yogourt or silken tofu
- 1 handful of spinach or kale
- 1 tsp Teangle Matcha Ginger & Lemongrass
- ½ scoop protein powder *optional
Pink layer
- ½ cup frozen strawberries
- ½ frozen banana
- ¼ cup vegan yogurt or silken tofu
- ½ cup coconut milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ scoop protein powder *optional
PREPARATION
- For the green layer: In a blender, combine all ingredients. Blend on high until completely smooth. Pour equally into two glasses.
- Wash the blender.
- For the pink layer: Combine all the ingredients in the rinsed blender and blend on high until completely smooth. Pour in the two glasses, on top of the green layer.
- Top with granola, fresh fruits, nuts and seeds.
